A few for your lawn and garden…
If you have a problem with moles in your yard or garden you can get rid of them by sticking peppermint disks into their holes. For whatever reason they just can’t stand the smell and will vacate the premises.
Grass growing in odd places (like up through a crack in the driveway or patio)? Save your used vegetable oil and pour it on the unwanted greenery – it’ll knock it dead!
Got unwanted pests/bugs in your garden bed? Plant dill around the sides. The bugs will be more attracted to the dill and stay away from those other goodies.
Keep those rose bushes happy by planting a banana peel in hole before putting in the rose bush – they love potassium!
Now it’s your turn – drop a tip in the jar!

LOVED THE COMMENT ON HOW TO GET RID OF MOLES. WHEN PLANTING FOR NEXT YEAR THINK ABOUT DAFFODILS FOR THE SPRING AND RIGHT NEXT TO THEM PLANT YOUR DAYLILIES. WHEN THE DAFFODILS FADE THE GREENS OF THE DAYLILIES WILL APPEAR AND COVER THE FADED DAFFODILS. Thanks for your tips! I tried the banana peel idea with my tomatoes. The cherry tomatoes are going crazy, but it didn’t seem to make much difference with the regular tomatoes. I wish I would have known this a few weeks ago, we just replanted our rose bush, hoping it’ll like its new location better. Have a fabulous day!
