Tuesday’s Tip Jar

Have you ever gone to scramble eggs and found that you are swirling the egg yolks around in a bowl for what seems to be forever? An easy way to fix that problem is to take a fork and pierce each egg yolk before you begin scrambling – it really does make it easier and a bit faster.

Now it’s your turn – drop a tip in the jar!

  2. I remember hearing somewhere about the egg yolk poking tip, but I’ve never tried it. We have cheese omelets for lunch quite often (it’s one of the foods Maya will actually eat!)and I usually beat the eggs with a fork (too lazy to find the wire whisk). I’m going to try this piercing the yolk trick next time – thanks for the reminder!
