Newsweek Reporter Witnesses an Abortion
This gal has covered abortions for a handful of stories in her career. This time she actually had the opportunity to witness a 1st trimester abortion for the first time. Her reaction was honest and truthful.
I’d be interested in reading what she had to say about it. I’ll see if I can dig it up somewhere. Why am I posting this? Because I used to be “pro-choice” and have since changed my mind about it the last 8 years of my life. I think it’s ok to feel strongly about it, to stand by those notions, but I also think it’s ok to keep learning about things and asking questions on this life journey that we are living and leading.

I remember chatting with you when you were pro-choice. I’m glad you have since changed your opinions on the subject. And I am glad you posted this – maybe it will encourage others that it is ok to admit what abortion really is.
I think there are many people out there that have changed their minds about abortion for obvious reasons but will not discuss it because they are afraid of the backlash.
Very well put. It’s OK to be passionate about such a subject. I too was pro-choice and for the past 18 years have been pro-life. I was pro choice out of ignorance. Most think I never looked at it differently. I see how God uses my past to be a light because I can say…I was there and this is why I believe what I do. It puts out the fire in their flame!
Even Roe from Roe v Wade changed her mind!!!!

I was prochoice because I had an abortion. It wasn’t until I miscarried a subsequent child into my hand that I saw with my own two eyes my tiny child. I knew what I had done and how very wrong it was.
