With the onset of fall comes colder temperatures in many regions. Many of you (like me) have turned on your heater already. If you are worried about the heating bill this year I have a simple suggestion – turn in down. Keeping your thermostat at a steady 68 degrees is quite sufficient for heating your home. If you are home during the day you could even drop it to 66 – just throw on a sweater and some thick socks. At night throw an extra blanket on your bed. Remember, you don’t have to keep your house feeling like summer just to make it through winter – and when you get a lower heating bill you will be glad you made this change. And don’t worry about your kids – give them a sweater and an extra blanket too. You could even go buy them some fuzzy slippers – it will be ok.
Now it’s your turn – drop a tip in the jar!

We’re 65 degree people in the winter. I use it to offset my guilt at keeping the AC at 72 most of the summer!
Hope you guys enjoy those Spider Pops for Halloween. I had fun learning how to make them. Your kids will love them!
