Voice of the Unborn Child
- by Angela
I am here.
Don’t be deceived.
I AM a human being
From the moment I was conceived.
So why is there such sadness?
And why is there such gloom?
For God is carefully weaving me
Within my mother’s womb.
Is that the voice of anger?
Or is it doubt and fear?
Why doesn’t the world out there
Want me living here?
God, am I unwanted?
Cause I’m so meek and mild.
Can anybody hear my cry?
I’m the voice of the unborn child.
Are you disappointed?
Am I not in your plan?
Jesus, help me now.
I just don’t understand.
I am alive and well.
Please do me no harm.
Let me come into the world
And be loved in someone’s arms.
My plea is that you save my life.
Can you hear my cry?
Have mercy now and hear my prayer.
Please don’t let me die!
The Father has a plan for me
And He will help you see;
There is someone in the world
Who’ll take good care of me.
I ask you now to let me live
And know that this is true;
You will NEVER be alone.
God will help you through.
He’ll guide you and will comfort you
Through your pain and strife;
Listen to your child within
And give to me my life!

Tuesday’s Tip Jar: Butterflies
- by Angela
My tip for Tuesday’s Tip Jar is if you want to have Butterflies fluttering around your house this summer all you have to do is plant flowers that attract them.
Every year I head on over to Walmart and pick up these large canister of Zinnia seeds. I scatter them in my garden in front of the house and they grow and bloom all summer long.
Butterflies come from all over to visit my Zinnias.
God’s Creation: Butterflies
- by Angela
Today I was reading Jones’ Life where she had posted about butterflies emerging from their cocoons. I was entranced by this post because #1 I love butterflies and #2 I had no idea there was such a thing called a Butterfly Garden. Who Knew?
Every year I like to capture butterflies with my digital camera. It doesn’t always work out and I’m not sure how I’m going to do that since I’m debating on whether or not to plant my gigantic Zenia’s again. The Zenia’s are beautiful but they are quite an ordeal because you have to pull them all out in the fall and it’s a lot of work. I’m debating doing something different. Here are I am rambling again..lol
Here’s a photo of a butterfly that I captured in August 2008. I think it’s beautiful. So much so, that I wanted to share it with you and encourage all you home schooling Mom’s out there to consider picking up one of these Butterfly Gardens that was mentioned on Jones’ Life.
Isn’t God’s Creation absolutely, 100%, and without a doubt SPECTACULAR? Look closely at the picture. See all the intricate details on the butterfly? Watch what it is doing to that Zenia! Look how the butterfly props itself up on the flower to extract the sweetness. The entire process is breathtaking. Is it not? God in His infinite wisdom put it all together.
